Minas Tidal

Minas Tidal is a partnership between Minas Energy, International Marine Energy Inc. and Tocardo, built to develop a tidal energy project in the Bay of Fundy, at our berth at the Fundy Ocean Research Centre for Energy (FORCE), near Parrsboro, Nova Scotia.

Nova Scotia has a chance at generating renewable energy from a clean, plentiful source – the immense tides of the Bay of Fundy. Our team has been working on harnessing the power of those tides for nearly a decade. Now, with the right technology and a Canada-wide partnership, Minas Tidal brings the industry know-how, and a track record for meaningful community engagement.
